The Duddon races are hosted and organised by the Newfield Inn in Seathwaite. The pub takes no profit: all the proceeds of the race go into the prize pot. The races are kindly supported by Jennings, Pete Bland Sports and Cumbrian Legendary Ales, and all the work on the day is done by volunteers from the valley and members of Black Combe Runners, the local fell club.

The 2011 Long Duddon is a counter in the English Championships series, which is sponsored by Inov8 and Pete Bland Sports again. The PBS van will be on site on the day and there will be lots of Inov8 prizes as well as the usual trophies and vouchers.

This site is maintained by Will at spanner, who you will see looking blowy somewhere in the lower upper middle of the field.
